About Eyes Mouth Ears

Eyes Mouth Ears (EME) is a news and current affairs outlet covering Nigeria, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, and beyond — with dedicated attention to Plateau State, a region often underserved by national coverage.

How our content is made

EME publishes two kinds of content, and we label each one clearly.

AI-assisted reports. Many of our news reports are drafted by an AI system (Claude, by Anthropic) strictly from recent reporting by credible news outlets, which are cited within each article. An editor reviews every one before it is published; nothing goes live automatically. These articles carry the label "EME Staff (AI-assisted)".

Original reporting and opinion. Stories written by EME's own journalists and editors carry the author's name as a byline, or "EME Editorial Desk" for desk reporting. They are reviewed by our editorial desk before publication. Opinion pieces reflect the views of their authors.

Our sources

We aggregate and synthesize reporting from established outlets including BBC, Reuters, Al Jazeera, Premium Times, Daily Post Nigeria, The Guardian, and regional sources across our coverage areas. Original source attribution is provided with every article.
